SXSW 2019 is officially here! And we’re going to be here the whole time to serve up your favorites. You can find us during our regular hours, far enough away from all of the lines and crowds to be a little haven from the madness. No badges necessary. No wristbands. Only delicious food and good times.
A dish that has become an absolute must-have at Bistro Vonish is our pan-seared Mac&Cheese. The option to add Seitan and/or Tempeh has been around, and we recently added a “Make it Spicy” option, as well as Brussels Mac&Cheese.
Well, this week, in celebration of four years of the Bistro Vonish trailer, we’ll be unleashing a Birthday Cake Mac&Cheese! A Mac&Cheese based dessert that is somewhere between a kugel and a cheesecake and tastes like a birthday party.
Oh boy. Get ready.
We’re winding up our winter vacation, and cannot wait to get back into the kitchen. To start things off, we’re having a New Year’s Day Brunch, 10-2, on January 1. Then we will resume our regular hours on January 2.
Next, on January 10, we will be celebrating 4 years of the Bistro Vonish trailer! 6-9 PM. With drinks, food, fun, and all of our friends at Possum Park.
Soup Week is coming back around this year, from January 16 through January 20, we’ll be shaking up our soup offerings with our neighbors at Franny’s and Sundaze to cook up warming soups from around the globe.
But wait! There’s more! January 19 is a pop-up market organized by our neighbors Yarrow & Sage. There will be lots of vendors with their handmade goods, hot teas with optional spirits, and so much more.
And this isn’t even all of it. More to come with another It’s Your Park Day, and a swap shop happening at the end of the month.
